Collection of waste

We train ragpickers to collect chicken feathers from local butchers.

Sanitization

To ensure hygiene and quality, we employ 27 natural sanitization processes to sanitize the waste.

Segregation & Hand Carding

The feathers are then segregated. In the skilled hands of Tribal Women Artisans, our meticulously chosen feathers are transformed into pulp and yarn. These artisans expertly segregate the feathers based on their properties, meticulously removing any dirt and the stem, ensuring only the finest quality material is used for our products.

Wet Hand Spinning & Cone Binding

The Tribal Women Artisans skilfully harness centuries of Indian tradition, utilizing the charkha, a spinning wheel, to craft exquisite yarn from feather wool.

Weaving

Adhering to traditional craftsmanship, weavers dedicate themselves to the loom, meticulously hand-knotting patterns line by line, a process that spans from months to a year, underscored by a profound attention to detail.
