The Chicken Man of the Textile World

Radhesh Agrahari has revolutionized textiles and paper industry with the invention of 6th natural fiber, made from up-cycled Butchery Chicken Waste. He dedicated 7 years of his life from turning an idea to a great innovation. He is a social entrepreneur who started his business on the principles of solving social issue, Creating an entirely new business model – working directly with artisans and empowering them and their communities with a sustainable livelihood.

Hailing from a traditional family in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, he is part of a nine-member household under the loving leadership of his grandmother, who serves as the head of the family. He did part time jobs to complete his education and 7 years long research.

Sustainability has profoundly inspired him during his journey in the handicraft field. Witnessing people’s pursuit of sustainable products without fully understanding their true nature has motivated him to create innovative solutions for a better, greener, and more sustainable future. 

Radhesh Agrahari has a mission with his innovative initiative that aims to generate a profound Green Impact in the world. He’s dedicated to providing individuals with the joy and satisfaction of leading sustainable lives while embracing the principles of a circular economy. By actively working towards reducing pollution in our environment, he successfully depleted 7762,762,090 kg of carbon footprint.

Radhesh Agrahari has revived 3 traditional crafts through his innovation which are Wet Hand Spinning, Wet Hand Carding and Handloom Weaving, which helped 10,000+ tribal women artisans. 

Today, Radhesh Agrahari is acclaimed globally as a remarkable social entrepreneur. His inspiring journey and contributions have been highlighted in numerous articles, interviews, news pieces, books, and conferences worldwide, showcasing his ability to blend profitability with compassion in the business realm.
